A woman in her 60s has died following a two-vehicle collision near Baltinglass, Co Wicklow last night
.The woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been taken to the mortuary at Naas General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out. The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his 30s, was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to the collision, or any road users who were in the area between 11.30pm and midnight and may have camera footage, to contact Baltinglass Garda Station on 059 6482610.
