A woman in her 30s has died following a two-car collision on the N24 in Co Tipperary last night.
The crash happened at Kilsheelan at around 10pm where a passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body of the deceased was removed to Waterford University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.The driver and a passenger of the second car, both men in their late teens, were also brought to WUH with non-life-threatening injuries. Another passenger in the second car, a woman in her late teens, was brought to Tipperary University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene has been preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with camera footage travelling in the area of the N24 at Kilsheelan between 9.30pm and 10.10pm last night are asked to share it with gardaí.Anyone with any information is asked to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052 617 7640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
