A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after falling from a cliff in the Isle of Skye
The 50-year-old was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow following the incident in the Elgol area around 3.35pm on Thursday.The incident sparked a major emergency response, with crews from mountain rescue teams, HM Coastguard, Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service attending.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35pm on Thursday, 20 July, 2023, we received a report that a woman had fallen from a cliff in the Elgol area of the Isle of Skye.Top news stories today "The 50-year-old was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where she remains in a serious condition.”
