The unidentified woman was discovered in East Windsor on Sunday morning.
Authorities on Monday said the body of a woman believed to be in her 40s was found in West Windsor on Christmas along the shoulder of US Route 1 North.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s office gave no indication as to the cause of her death and her identity was not immediately released to the public, pending notification of her next of kin.police department responding to several calls found her near a former car dealership along the busy highway. She was pronounced dead at the scene and the Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner’s Office removed her body.
