The Man City defender denies all charge against him

A woman said she was left with 'no choice' before 'being raped' by Benjamin Mendy in a 'locked' bedroom at his mansion, a jury has heard.

He then said, ‘If you just take your clothes off, I just want to look at you. I promise’." She said he accused her of being 'too shy', boasted that he had had sex with thousands of women, and told her: “Don’t tell anyone and you can come over here every night."

Under cross-examination from Eleanor Laws QC, defending Mr Mendy, the woman said the footballer ‘made it clear she could not leave’ the bedroom and she removed her clothes as she felt she ‘had no choice’. “I felt he would keep his word and not touch me because I made it clear I did not want anything to happen,” she told the court.
