A pedestrian in her 70s tragically died following a collision with a car on the Antrim Road in Glengormley, Co. Antrim, on Monday, January 13. The PSNI is investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The PSNI confirmed that the woman, a pedestrian, was struck by a car shortly after 5pm on the Antrim Road, in Glengormley yesterday, Monday January 13.
Detectives from the Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and ask that any witnesses please get in touch by calling 101, or submit information online here. A NIAS spokesperson told Belfast Live: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 17:01 on Monday 13 January following reports of a traffic incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, in the Antrim Road area of Glengormley. "NIAS despatched 2 Emergency Crews, a HART Crew, an Advanced Paramedic and an Ambulance Officer to the incident.
