A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a disturbance in Aberdeen early on Tuesday morning

A police officer can be seen standing guard at the cordon as investigations are carried out. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred shortly before 1am on May 30. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.50am on Tuesday, May 30, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Hutcheon Street, Aberdeen. A 33-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she remains in a serious condition.
