Nikea Rivera, 45, is accused of setting her Dorchester triple-decker building on fire around 11 a.m., according to a report."I had to do it," Rivera purportedly told police."That house is haunted. I lit the house on fire."Rivera started the two-alarm fire on the first floor, which quickly spread to all the floors of the wood-frame building, the report noted.

After she was charged, she was ordered to receive a mental evaluation at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, District Attorney Kevin Hayden said."It's fortunate that this woman’s actions did not result in any residents or responders being seriously injured or killed," he said.
