A holidaymaker went to extreme lengths to reserve a sunbed at a five-star resort in Egypt after guests began 'tying their towels to the sunloungers'

In a battle for the best spot under the Egyptian sun, a British holidaymaker, who shares her travels on TikTok as @themrsmay, took to some extreme measures during her stay at a swanky five-star resort.

Her frustration grew as she found each poolside bed marked: "Absolutely no one here," she said. "Just tying their towels to the sun loungers. I actually think I'm too late already. Every single sunbed on that front row has been taken. We're going to have to go on the back row." "No hotel should allow this," another added. "They should be removing the towels. I refuse to stay anywhere that allows this selfish behaviour."
