One person labelled her husband 'clueless'
When going away for a few days or a long holiday, you may well ask a close friend or family member to check in to make sure everything is OK or to water the plants. It will give you some peace of mind so you can enjoy your well-earned time off.
In her post, she explained how she keeps a clean house and is convinced her mother-in-law just wants to snoop around, The Mirror reports. The woman wrote in her post: "I am going on a work trip from February 4- February 10. My husband told her this and he said she was 'weirdly excited to come over and clean while you are away.'"Now, I keep a very clean house. I wash my windows every weekend, I move the furniture when I clean, I clean my oven monthly. I vacuum daily.
She said: "My husband doesn't get it and says his mum is just trying to be nice. I feel violated that she even offered."
