TS Queen Mary moves to the Govan Graving Docks after a £1m contract is awarded to revive the historic ship.
A 90-year-old Clyde steamer has begun its restoration journey with the award of a £1m contract for repairs.
After being retired in 1977, it spent several years being used as floating restaurant on the Thames but it finally returned to the Clyde in 2016.of the restoration campaign while Prince Anne is the project's royal patron. Peter Breslin, from Marine Projects Scotland which is carrying out the work, said: "Securing this contract is testament to our commitment and confidence in the business viability of Govan Drydock.
