We'd prefer not to see another lockdown, too!
The World Health Organisation is not in favour of large-scale Covid-19 lockdowns because of the economic impact and how it affects people’s mental health, one of its leaders has said.
“The fastest way to do this is for all of us, leaders and individuals, to make the difficult decisions that must be made to protect ourselves and others. On people’s plans for Christmas, she said the public should think about questions such as: “Who is coming? What is their status? Have they all been vaccinated? Are you taking other measures – are you opening your windows, ventilating your room?
On the issue of lockdowns, Dr Harris said they work but not without an impact on people and business.
