A would-be burglar in Georgia ended up needing the help of first responders after getting stuck in a Little Caesars's exhaust vent.
how Brittany Davis—a U.S. Army recruiter who worked near the Little Caesars in Lithonia, Ga.—heard a man crying for help on Tuesday morning when she arrived for her shift.
The same Journal-Constitution article adds how Davis spotted an employee of the pizza chain, who confirmed when asked that he, too, could hear the shouts for help. Davis proceeded to call 911 although she still couldn’t figure out where the cries were coming from or who was in in need.11 Alive continues to report
how first responders arrived at the scene shortly after. They eventually found a man trapped inside one of the Little Caesars’s exhaust vents. Officials later said they suspected the man had been in there for hours. “I’m not sure what time the restaurant closes at night, but the oven still gives off heat after they close, I imagine,” says Dekalb County Fire Capt. Jason Daniels. “For him to get down into the pipe and escape with no injuries—again he had to do it in a certain window of time when the oven was cool enough and obviously nobody was in there.”
