Morrell is available on a free transfer having opted not to take up the option to extend his deal atRecruited from Luton back in August 2021, the midfielder has wracked up 105 appearances for Portsmouth, netting one goal and captaining them on several occasions.
By thus far declining the opportunity to activate the clause to extend his Fratton Park stay Morrell is free to talk to other interested parties this summer.Naturally, Morrell’s availability is said to have alerted Wrexham, who will be keen to make a good start to their League One campaign after securing promotions in successive seasons.The midfielder has represented Wales on 37 occasions, last playing for them in September 2023 against South Korea.
