Pundits Ian Wright and Rio Ferdinand were asked to pick between Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior.
Ian Wright and Rio Ferdinand have both agreed Mohamed Salah is a superior player to Real Madrid's star winger Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius has been suggested by some as a possible long-term successor for Salah when the time comes for the Egyptian to seek an Anfield exit, though Reds supporters are in no rush to see the 31-year-old leave the club as he continues to prove decisive for the team. Asked to pick between the two players in terms of overall quality, both Wright and Ferdinand opted to side with the Reds' No.11 due to his longevity at the top-level.
Continuing the conversation, Wright said: "I think if you go for anything other than Mo, with what Mo has done... What you have to say about Mo is that when Liverpool signed him from Roma you were a bit like ‘Mo Salah?’ But he hasn’t looked back.
