The warning will come into place at 9pm tonight
A yellow warning for rain has been issued for tonight and tomorrow, covering Central, Tayside & Fife as well as Grampian.
The warning states that there may be some spray and flooding on roads that could extend journey times, flooding in homes and businesses could also be possible. Bus and train services will probably be affected by the harsh weather. "Rain is expected to turn heavy in places, with 10-20 mm possible in one hour, and very locally 40 mm in 3-6 hours, but not all places in the warning area will see these amounts."Locations in Grampian that are covered by the warning include:
