Yellowjackets season 2 is even more graphic and intense than the first. 'There’s scenes in Season 2 that are graphic, to say the least... You’ll look at it, and you’ll understand, but I don’t think you’ve ever seen such a scene in TV before.'
Yellowjackets star Sophie Nélisse, who plays a young Shauna Shipman in the thriller drama, says season 2 of the acclaimed series will see even more graphic violence than season 1. Debuting on Showtime in 2021, Yellowjackets proved itself as a gripping, mystery-laden series about what happened to a group of girls high school soccer players after surviving a plane crash, and how their adult lives have been impacted by their experiences.
There’s scenes in Season 2 that are graphic, to say the least, and I remember just doing it, and [the cast] all sat and looked at each other, and we were like ‘What the f*** are we doing. Like, literally, what the f*** are we doing.' You’ll look at it, and you’ll understand, but I don’t think you’ve ever seen such a scene in TV before.
