Arctic Monkeys were greeted by thousands of delighted Bellahouston Park fans as they made their return to Glasgow for the first time in five years.with their hands in the air to the cheers from the crowd before they kicked off their sold-out set on Sunday night with Brainstorm.Delighted by the response from the crowd, he then beamed:"Thank you Glasgow, you’re a sight for sore eyes.”
But the 37-year-old was in fine tune as he took fans through the best of the Arctic Monkeys back catalogue with guitarist Jamie Cook, drummer Matt Helders and bassist Nick O’Malley at the helm of that infectious sound. Clearly vibing with the crowd, he was delighted by the atmosphere generated at Bellahouston as he said with a smile, “You’re beautiful Glasgow.”
