This young father was left critically ill in hospital after he suffered serious injuries in a one punch attack.
Sources have confirmed to the Irish Mirror that he suffered major head injuries in the attack and his condition was so serious that he was later transferred to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital for treatment. Dozens of messages of support were also left on the social media page of Cortoon Shamrocks, a local GAA club of which Mr Ansbro is a well respected member.It’s understood Mr Ansbro had spent much of Saturday evening socialising with friends when he became separated from them just before midnight.
She said: “Gardaí investigating a serious assault on a man that occurred in the early hours of Sunday 11th July, 2021, at Foster Place in Tuam, Co.Galway, are appealing to the public for information.“He was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin where he is currently being treated for serious injuries. “Gardaí at Tuam are appealing for any witnesses to this assault to come forward to them.
