A man in his 20s has died following a crash on the M25 near Potters Bar last night.
Herts Police said they were among emergency services called to the collision involving a red Ford Focus at around 11pm.“Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene,” a police spokesperson added. “Sadly, the driver of the Ford and the sole occupant of the vehicle, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.Road closures remained in place on the M25 and Barnet Road in Potters Bar.
Sergeant Tim Davies from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this very difficult time. “We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it to please come forward.”Information can be reported via the force website or by emailing [email protected].
