Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a teenage tourist was hospitalised following a shocking early morning attack in Dublin last week.

“Gardaí at Bridewell Garda Station are appealing for witnesses following the assault of a young man in Smithfield, Dublin, on Friday, June 7,” a Garda spokesperson said. In light of this horrific attack, Dublin Chamber has called on the newly-elected councillors of Dublin to make safety a priority across their constituencies in the capital.
