Zamfara: Parties react to Supreme Court ruling in favour of PDP, mocks Buhari, APC
Imo Ugochinyere, CUPP spokesperson, in a statement on Friday, said the parties were excited about the Friday verdict of the Supreme Court.“We celebrate this Supreme Court judgment as it raises hope for Nigeria and its people to eventually be victorious over this tyrannical government”, it read.
“Opposition Coalition also sends a congratulatory message to the new Governor-elect Dr Bello Muhammad Mutawalle, senators, reps and state assembly elects on PDP platform for the victory. “We are also calling on the President of the Court of Appeal to quickly disband the election petition tribunal sitting in Zamfara State because members’ jobs have ended. This is because with the declaration of new winners, the time allowed by the constitution for filing petition against the result has elapsed.
