Jessica Woodrow, from Chester, set up a fake Facebook account in her former best friend's name to accuse her of lying about being raped. The victim faced psychological distress, leading to a court case where Woodrow was fined and restricted from contacting the victim. Police are now investigating the rape claims.
A zoo worker sent spiteful messages to her former 'BFF' from a fake Facebook account accusing her of lying about being raped.
Woodrow, who works voluntarily at Chester Zoo, was also fined £120 and was banned from contacting the victim for two years under the terms of a restraining order. Police are currently investigating the rape claims. 'I am more shut off from others and do not trust others as I used to. I cannot confide in people anymore.'To find out she was the person sending those messages to me made me feel really hurt and betrayed. I cannot understand why she has done this to me.'
'Miss Woodrow was subjected to an interview and she admitted that she was the person who sent the messages and set up the fake account. 'Miss Woodrow got stuck in the middle as far as this particular allegation that the complainant had made against the male that you have heard about.
