“We’re on the edge of the point where we’re growing that much that you’d be a bit nervous,” Sheridan said. “It’s nearly a white-knuckle ride, but we’re not quite over that edge.” Meanwhile, Britain’s EU exit meant some would-be rivals in the digital sphere no longer represented competition for potential European clients. Matrix spotted the gap and “took a gamble on it”, Sheridan said.
