Irish authorities have launched a public appeal to identify a suspect in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Athy, Kildare, last October. The attack occurred along the River Barrow Walkway on October 13th at approximately 7:30 pm. Gardaí released an e-fit of the suspect and urged anyone with information to contact Kildare Garda Station.

The female victim was approached by the suspect seen in the above evo-fit, before being dragged to the ground and raped. Following the incident, the suspect then fled in the direction of Athy town centre.
