€1.3 million was raised for children's charity Barretstown during the 30th Anniversary Gala Ball over the weekend.
A host of well-known faces turned out in force to attend Barretstown’s 30th Anniversary Gala Ball to celebrate the charity’s support of seriously ill children and their families with life-enhancing therapeutic camps and programmes.The event was hosted by broadcaster Angela Scanlon and included musical performances from Dermot Kennedy, Paul Byrom, Sister Sledge as well as teenage music star Teagan Nolan.
Also in attendance were former Leinster and Ireland rugby player Gordon D’Arcy, Munster and Ireland International Tadhg Beirne, Irish rock band The Stunning, singer-songwriter Mundy, Fair City star George McMahon and RTÉ’s Ray D’Arcy.
