Used HONDA NSX-T MANUAL TARGA - 64,400 miles for saleRarely do UK supplied, manual, low mileage, properly maintained, fault-free NSXs come to the market. So this is a singular opportunity to acquire a very special car. Firstly, a few words about the Targa: When it was first released in 1995, Road & Track magazine said 'The NSX looks so entirely natural with a Targa top that it's hard to believe it hasn't always had one'. During the design process of the NSX-T, Honda made no less than 50 modifications to retain body rigidity. The car is only 40kg heavier than the coupe through strengthening of the front bulkhead and A-post, the addition of an A-frame over the engine, as well as additional support in the rear floor and firewall. In typical Honda fashion, to compensate for this, the Targas had an aluminium rear bumper bar, to reduce overall weight. Drive a Targa and a Coupe - you will not feel any difference, except for the benefit of the open top in the summer! This particular car was UK supplied in 1996 and is finished in excellent Formula red paintwork with unmarked black leather interior. It has the 1995/6 model year colour-coded roof and 16' and 17' seven-spoke alloy wheels with brand new Pirelli tyres. It has covered 64,400 miles with good service history and provenance. The first owner was Honda UK. The current owner is only the third keeper and has owned the car since 2002. It has just had a cam-belt service. We have just carried out a full, detailed check over and everything works as it should, including Bose Hi-Fi, climate control, electronic power steering and ABS. So it’s ready to be enjoyed, with the roof off, whilst the sun shining! The owner is already regretting selling. In our opinion (and his!) there is no better, practical, usable, everyday convertible classic sports car than an NSX-T. £83,000 Full detailed photos, and a walk-around video, can be seen on the gallery section of our website.
