30-year-old man killed in Carlsbad crash [Breaking]
A 30-year-old man was killed after his car crashed into a tree in Carlsbad on Friday night, and police are looking for witnesses to the collision.
The man’s wrecked pickup was seen on Armada Drive north of Palomar Airport Road about 7:25 p.m., Carlsbad police said. Responding officers found the driver trapped, and fire crews freed him. He was rushed to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries, police said.Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, but the incident remains under investigation, according to police. Anyone with information about the collision was asked to call officers at 339-5559.
