A Place in the Sun host Ben Hillman was left stunned by a house hunter's decision as they wrapped up their property search in Spain
A Place in the Sun buyer said 'wait' just before the end credits rolled on the episode. The Channel 4 show's latest house hunter was faced with a serious dilemma at the end of the programme.
Louise, from Kent, had £120,000 to make her dream a reality and had a small list of requirements - with being close to the beach a top priority. But her house hunt ended with more questions than answers.Viewers watched as the pair toured five different homes that all had something unique about them. Louise could already see herself enjoying sea views and barbeques on the sun-soaked terrace of one property.
At the maximum end of her budget, Ben showed Louise a two-bed and two-bath apartment that was on an urbanisation plot she said "felt like a little village". It boasted access to four different pools and spots that caught the sun "all day long". After a night of contemplation, Louise informed Ben that she would be returning home with more to consider before making such a significant life decision. She stated: "When I saw property three I thought I've got everything here - it's by the beach and I could really see myself there."
