National Highways are carrying out a £150 million bypass project along A585 Windy Harbour to Skippool
Traffic will be switched into a new section on the road, between Windy Harbour and Skippool, while National Highways continue work on a £150million bypass project.
To allow contractors to finish work on the outer verges at Skippool roundabout, nightwork will be undertaken at Skippool Road on the southbound carriageway on Wednesday for three nights from 8.30pm to 5:30am under temporary traffic signals. Tristram Bardrick, National Highways’ project manager, said: “The removal of the existing Skippool bridge is an important part of this project and these changes to the road layout will help ensure it can take place safely.
