An 11-year-old has been praised by his school after leaving primary with a perfect 100 per cent attendance

.His mum Clare said he was the only one in the school to receive the 100 per cent attendance award for every day since starting in reception seven years ago.

She said: “The headteacher Miss Colbeck and Year 6 teacher Miss Ramsey were very proud of him and said it was a massive achievement - this was the first his teacher had presented.Clare added that she and George’s dad Nick were “very proud of him” and he is looking forward to his new chapter at high school in September.
