Adele has been hit with backlash after the songstress appeared to tell fans at the Signal Iduna Park Stadium to 'shut up' as England battled against the Netherlands
The huge songstress attended the match in Dortmund which saw Gareth Southgate's team secure a 2-1 victory and win a place in the final on Sunday. But while everybody appeared to be in good spirits, Adele , 36, was not keen on the constant cheering and applause from fans.
In the clip, Adele can be seen turning her head to those at her side and behind her before apparently yelling: "Shut up!" Social media users didn't take the outburst well, with one writing: "That has to be the most boring stand to be in. The lack of celebrating from everyone and the need for someone to shout shut up at a crowd of people. Crazy how they live.
Her luscious blonde tresses were straightened to perfection and she accessorised her look with a pair of oversized gold hooped earrings. Although Adele is often used to the attention she receives at stadiums, Wednesday night's outing saw Aston Villa ace Ollie Watkins flooded with support.
