“There’s menopause for women and testosterone for men, the kids are moving towards adolescence, your parents are getting older, you’re trying to push forward in your career, there’s an awful lot going on”. “Anecdotally, from my experience working in the clinic, from the ages of about 45 to 53 is when most people are having affairs.”.
“There’s lots of things you can do to make it a bit easier and more enjoyable. Just being aware that your 40s are particularly difficult can help you feel less alone in it. Making sure that you don’t lose contact with your partner is important.
