An air ambulance was called to a youth rugby match in Forfar, Scotland, after a player sustained a serious neck/spinal injury. Emergency crews responded to Inchmacoble Park around 2pm today where the Under 18s match between Strathmore Sharks and Dunfermline Rugby Football Club was taking place.

The club said the boy was taken to hospital in an ambulance by the paramedics who first arrived on the scene, though they praised the air ambulance crew's professionalism. The club are waiting on word back from the club in Dunfermline on the teen's condition. “Although the helicopter attended the young lad was taken away in the ambulance with the paramedics who first attended. The helicopter from the Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance was amazing to watch and acted with clinical professionalism.
