The Irish St Leger is heating up nicely with the second round at Limerick tonight
The second round of the Willwego.com Irish St Leger is the feature event at Limerick Greyhound Stadium this evening with eight heats. The Pat Buckley trained Unanimouspanther was the fastest heat winner in the opening round as he clocked a stunning 29.34 for the 550 yards. This Kasko National Produce Stakes winner showed super early speed to take up the running with six lengths back to Newport Pier in second place. He looks the one in heat 6 from trap four for owner Ciaran O’Sullivan.
Jaytee Craze lived up to the excitement as he won his heat in 29.71 for trainer Paul Hennessy. Co-owner Lee Craze made the journey over to watch him win his friend and horse trainer Fergal O’Brien. He came from behind in an eye-catching performance so he gets the nod from me in heat 8 trap one. His kennelmate Barefoot On Fire races from trap four so he should qualify for Bryan & Kathleen Murphy.
Con & Annie Kirby Memorial winner Knockeen Dazzler won his heat in 29.72 for Daniel O’Rahilly so he can make it two from two in heat 2 with In Good Time a danger in trap five for trainer Brendan Maunsell.
