Anna Geary has said that losing 50 per cent of her immediate family in the space of 18 months was such a shock.
As she deals with grief in her own way, the RTÉ favourite has realised that she will never get to pick up the phone to them again.Anna said: "Life can literally change in a moment, without warning. For 50 per cent of my immediate family to be gone in the space of 18 months was such a shock. "He was such a healthy man, and we thought he'd outlive us all, so it was such a shock to see him deteriorate so quickly. It was very short and very intense - he passed away around six weeks after the final diagnosis."
She told Woman's Way: "Four months is no length of time and it's really important that they're allowed to grieve in private.
