The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship winner had an emotional reunion in the Hogan Stand with his girlfriend Aoife after the final whistle went in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon
Armagh star Ben Crealey was reunited with his girlfriend Aoife for the first time in nine months after Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final.Aoife has been living in Australia, but she jetted back to Ireland to watch Ben and the team lift the Sam Maguire for the first time since 2002.
"She was living over in Perth in Australia, so I seen her for the first time in nine months after the final whistle over in the Hogan Stand. "Like all the losses we have had over the past couple of years and all the bad defeats and then kind of pick yourself up after it every night going to training.Aoife shared a video of the couple being reunited on Instagram, writing: "From Perth to Croke Park. Proud of you Ben, it’s all been worth it for this."
He said: "My Dad never kicked a football in his life. I’d take him out in the garden a few times and he’s not a great sight to behold with a football, but in a rally car he’s different.
