Ashley Cain completes 100 mile run in tears in memory of daughter Azaylia
Ashley Cain collapsed in tears as he completed his 100 mile run in honour of his daughter Azaylia on Sunday evening.
He began his difficult journey on Saturday in his daughter’s memorial garden in Nuneaton and ended in the heart of the capital, all in aid of raising money for The Azaylia Foundation, which was set up to support families with children suffering from cancer. In a video captured at the end of his run, Ashley can be seen holding onto family members as he hung his head and cried in what appeared to be relief, exhaustion and ongoing grief for his daughter.
“Especially when I picked up two injuries as well but you know what? We powered through, we believed and we got across the line.
