A bar manager was held by police after officers halted a New Year bash at his pub during the pandemic.Revellers had gathered in the pub for an event which was disrupted by police minutes before the bells.
Drinks were noted to be lifted from tables and removed while an officer threatened to arrest customers.Tetmachalis was charged with intentionally obstructing four police officers from exercising their powers. A separate charge stated Tetmachalis, of the city's Trongate, allowed disorderly conduct to take place in the bar.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that police attended the premises at 10.50pm on Hogmanay.She said:"Inquiries were made about"They spoke to Tetmachalis who identified himself as the designated premises manager."
Connor, of Battlefield, and Kearns, of Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, failed to show at earlier hearings.They are also said to have resisted, obstructed or hindered police officers in the execution of their duties.
