Brave Alanna has now gone through her sixth surgery to her eye but despite numerous reconstructive surgeries, she has lost vision permanently in her right eye as a result of the attack.

A brave young woman who was left blind in one eye after a horror street attack has given "a “special shout out” to the four people responsible.

As you can see I’m all stitched up, bruised and swelling,” Alanna told her followers in a recent video on the social media platform. She also comments: “Three years later and I’m still getting reconstruction surgery but they’ll be out soon without a bother.”

The court was told that it was an organised attack by four males who tracked and observed the two teenagers beforehand.
