The body of a man that was pulled from the River Corrib this week has been sadly named as 34 year old Adam Loughnane.
Gardaí later confirmed that the incident was a 'personal tragedy', with the search being stood down as of Tuesday evening. In a heartbreaking post on social media he said: "My younger brother, Adam Loughnane, passed away yesterday evening. Adam made the very difficult decision to end his own life in the River Corrib.
