The iconic hotel was owned by the U2 rockers for over 30 years
The rockers signed off on the multimillion euro deal to The Dean Group, which is owned by Paddy McKillen jnr and Matt Ryan.
Along with Paddy McKillen snr, the pair have owned the hotel since 1992, with the venue having hosted a number of the band's iconic moments. According to the architect's plans, The Clarence Hotel will extend into the building next door, which The Dean Group has also bought. It'll bring the room count to 102.
