The pop star hit out at the Dancing With The Stars judge following The Late Late Show's Eurosong selection last week - Brian also opened up about celebrating 10 years of The Six O'Clock Show

Brian Dowling has defended his husband Arthur Gourounlian after he was criticised by Eurosong finalist Samantha Mumba following last weekend's Late Late Show special, saying her comments were very personal and she crossed a line.

Brian said Arthur was qualified to do the job and he and Samantha spoke backstage before her performance to her self-penned track My Way. He added that this situation makes him think of "bitter lemon and sour grapes". "I think it was her comments talking about Arthur's lack of credentials. I think she labelled Arthur a dancer with no formal experience. Arthur trained himself. He was living in Armenia and he was a refugee. There was a war going on and there were bigger things to do than learn to dance."

"Arthur has worked with four Eurovision winners. He was on the selection for the Armenian Eurosong. He's done numerous Eurovision festivals. "What's been really fun is people tapping into it, because the world is quite heavy and dark at the moment. I think it's brought a bit of light relief, really."
