Exclusive: 'I’m going on,' the legendary singer told us

Legendary singer Brian Warfield has announced he isn’t retiring after The Wolfe Tones finish up – revealing he has written a musical.

The Dubliner told us that Celtic Exodus tells the story of the “great emigration of people to America during the famine times”. It comes after Warfield confirmed he is suing RTÉ for defamation after a row erupted between him and Liveline host Joe Duffy on air nine months ago. In the aftermath of his appearance on the programme, Mr Warfield accused Mr Duffy of being “very abusive” and “totally out of line” in his comments and said he would be making a formal complaint to RTÉ.
