A new website advising on what to do in an emergency is being launched as part of the government's push to ensure the UK is more resilient to threats.

Britons will be advised to stock up on food and water as part of a new government campaign to get the public to prepare for emergencies. Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden will reveal a new website on Wednesday to advise people on how to protect themselves from various risks, including biosecurity crises, flooding, power outages or another pandemic.
