Fabulosity landed in the bottom three opposite Jackie Would and Electra Owl having performed a lip sync to Mary J Blige’s Just Fine, before being informed by RuPaul that her time in the competition had come to an end.
Numerous Drag Race fans tweeted that they realised it was Loretta behind the make-up straight away, as her voice is ‘so distinctive’. Others expressed their utter dismay that she was the first person to be eliminated, given how much of an admired performer she is.‘Y’all are going to hell for making Loretta Devine lip sync for her life,’ one person wrote, seemingly seething with anger.
‘RuPaul eliminated a Dreamgirl. NO. You’re so amazing Ms. Loretta Devine!!’ another wrote in support.
