The Arctic blast currently settling over the country has made itself known, with ice, snow, sleet and hail present across the country.

The company said: “With conditions likely to deteriorate before the morning we feel this is the safest decision for the children and our drivers, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”A number of Bus Eireann services were also disrupted this morning along the East/North-East region routes."Bus Éireann regrets any inconvenience this may cause our passengers," reads the notice..
