Fire crews have surrounded the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central hotel on Cambridge Street this afternoon.
The incident has meant that Cambridge Street is currently shut off to traffic in both directions from Renfrew Street to Hill Street.Traffic information site INRIX issued an alert concerning the road closure, which read: "Cambridge Street in both directions closed due to police incident from Renfrew Street to Hill Street. The road is closed due to an ongoing incident in the Hilton hotel."
