Celtic have reportedly been told the asking price to take Sydney van Hooijdonk from Bologna before the transfer deadline with suitors lining up for the striker late in the window.
With the Italian side keen to offload Van Hooijdonk, Bologna-based newspaper Il Resto del Carlino claim that a fee €5million would be enough to convince the club to part with the striker this summer. It is claimed boss Motta is keen to add another striker but needs to sell the son of former Celtic star Pierre before he can make a move in the market.
Lisbon outlet Record report that a deal is imminent for the highly-rated midfielder. They state Bernardo has already flown out to Glasgow to iron out the final details of a move.
