Newstalk Breakfast Ciara Kelly believes the entrance of Kamala Harris into the White House race means the landscape has completely changed
US President Joe Biden abandoned his bid to remain as president a month ago after a series of gaffes and a disastrous debate performance against Republican rival Donald Trump , with Kamala Harris then stepping in as candidate."We thought we had one US presidential election coming up,” she said. “We thought we had Trump versus Biden.”Biden was looking frankly very old and possibly unfit.
"Now we have a very different election campaign on our hands a much younger, more energetic candidate against Trump. "A lot of what the Democrats say appears to be landing – the felon versus the prosecutor, Trump is 'anti-democracy' after all the stuff that happened on January 6th." Ciara said Trump questioning if Kamala Harris is communist or even actually Black isn't landing with voters.'It seems unhinged'"I wonder is the one-trick pony finished up with his trick?" he said., which took place a couple of days after somebody tried to shoot him, it seems unhinged by comparison to what is happening at the Democratic National Convention.
"They're desperately trying to get him to talk about the economy and things that will appeal to those red voters.Jonathan added that he believes Trump will have"a massive wobble" between now and November.
